Preparing the material:
All of the cards are meant to be laminated (recommended laminate thickness: 90-125 micron).
The individual cards need to be cut out (NB: the cards with the diagrams with titles constitute one card)
Sides not to be laminated: 2 templates
Sides or cards to be bound into a booklet: none

Teaching Content:
Learning the parts of plant with bulb. Reading for information. 

Possible Applications:
Possible application in connection with topics or projects such as: biology, spring, growth, flowers, etc.
Free work, individual work, pair work, small group work.

Before You Begin:
To work with this material, the children require:
a floor mat or a felt board, a display block, scissors, stationary for writing and drawing.

How to use:
The children can work with the terminology cards to learn the specific terms and be able to label the plant. To place these terms in context, the children can then match the word cards with the text- or picture cards. They can also make a booklet and draw and label the parts of the plant themselves. 
Alternatively, they can colour in the templates and either label them, or cut out the word cards, match them to the pictures and then glue them.

Control of Error:
The children can check their progress by referring to the cards with the diagrams and titles, the A4 control sheet or the control terms in the grey fields of the pairing cards.

Additional Information:
