The Kamishibai comes from Japan, consists of the words 'kami' (paper) and 'shibai' (play, theater), and is a Japanese paper theater. With the Kamishibai, a variety of grammatical structures can be developed.

The Kamishibai stage can be used in both portrait and landscape format. The stage is made of wood, white glazed on the top and unglazed on the bottom. This allows the children to feel, smell, and see the wood.
